As part of deliberate campaigns to create awareness on the existence of the upcoming institution known as Ave Maria University, the new Vice-Chancellor of the institution, Professor Ignatius Onimawo, has charged Nigerians craving for quality education of their children to bring them to the instruction.

Professor Onimawo, spoke as a Special Guest at the National Conference of Society for Agriculture Environmental Resource and Management, which took place on Monday at the Conference Hall of the University of Calabar (UNICAL), Cross River State.

The VC told the mammoth crowd that he is known for providing quality leadership for any University he heads, and gave assistance to all.

Professor Onimawo, who had served as the Vice-Chancellor of Ambrose Ali University, Ekpona and was rated high for his pragmatic leadership qualities, assured that he is fully committed to moving the university to a level it will become one of the best private universities in the country.

He informed parents at the conference, that admission into the university is ongoing and they should endeavour to bring their children.

Other Speakers at the event urged the federal government to take proactive steps in revamping agriculture as food shortage is fast becoming eminent in the country.

They called on the government to take the issues of environmental degradation seriously as it poses great challenge for the country.
