Eight new cases of Coronavirus have been reported from two states of the Federation: Benue and Lagos.
While one case (indeed the first case) was confirmed in Benue by Governor Samuel Ortom, Lagos, the commercial nerve centre of Nigeria, recorded 7 new cases of the virus.
With this development, Nigeria now has a total of 89 confirmed cases of #COVID19 with 1 death, according to the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
