Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum has presented the flags of The All Progressives Congress (APC) to the Borno State House of Assembly LGC State Constituency ‘Candidates from Southern Borno, indicating that they are the authenticated party flag bearers for the State Assembly election in 2023.
Governor Zulum also called on the people of Borno to vote massively and re-elect all APC candidates from the Presidential election down to the State Assembly election.
He made the call on Monday at the Southern Borno APC Zonal Campaign Rally held in Biu LGA of the state.
The governor, further, charged all the APC candidates to be united and collectively carry out their campaigns to ensure the victory of the ruling party at the polls next year.
He also urged the APC candidates to continue to mobilize and educate their followers on the electoral process and laws while imploring them to ensure they collect their PVCs.
Zulum added that if re-elected, he will continue with the good works he started and execute more projects , create jobs and provide additional schools, hospitals, roads, houses, solar energy and others for the benefit of the citizens.
In hi remarks, The APC State Chairman , Hon. Ali Bukar Dalori, declared that Governor Zulum has been accepted and endorsed by Southern Borno people. He, therefore, called on the electorates to repeat the past and vote for Governor Zulum to continue in office for another four years term in order to provide more dividends of democracy.
The Deputy Governor, Hon. Umar Usman, Senator Mohammed Ali Ndume, the senator representing Borno South Senatorial District at the National Assembly and Hon. Mukhtari Betara Aliyu, House of Representatives member representing Bayo, Biu ,Kwaya Kursa and Shani Federal Constituency spoke in the same vein, clamouring for APC victory in the forthcoming .
NATIONAL ACCORD reports that the APC Borno State House of Assembly State Constituency candidates from Southern Borno, who were presented with the party’s flags included those of Biu LGS; Yakubu Kimba, Hawul LGC; Ibrahim Mohammed, Bayo LGC; Maigari Abare, Kwaya Kursa LGC; Abubakar Babale.
Others were from Askira/Uba LGC; Engr. Abdullahi Musa , Shani LGC; Ibrahim Musa Inuwa Kubo, Chibok LGC; Nuhu Clark, Damboa LGC; Malamai Lawan Koreke and Gwoza LGC; Abdullahi Buba Abatcha.
