Speaking to a crowd of ADC supporters in Gusau on Sunday, El-Rufa’i highlighted the party’s strategies to tackle security challenges in the state. He emphasized that the ADC has comprehensive plans for Nigeria’s future, particularly in areas of security, economic growth, and food security.
“I, therefore, urge Zamfara residents to join rescue move to save the state and Nigeria as a country. I am happy to visit Zamfara, I am very delighted as I see the progress of ADC and promotion of unity in the party,” he said.
El-Rufa’i also warned party members against acts of sabotage and disunity, while commending the state leadership for successfully mobilising ADC members. He called on the party to collaborate with youths and women groups to educate grassroots communities about ADC’s development plans in Zamfara.
He further appealed to voters to ensure their Permanent Voter’s Cards (PVCs) are ready ahead of the 2027 General Elections to support ADC candidates at all levels.
Deputy National Organising Secretary of the ADC, Abubakar Atiku, described El-Rufa’i’s visit as a welcome boost for the party. He noted that the ADC is driving initiatives that strengthen peace and stability in Zamfara and praised stakeholders for maintaining unity within the party.
“All ADC stakeholders are strongly working together for the ADC to bring positive changes that will bring security, justice and fairness to the people of the state. We will ensure unity, peace and stability among party leaders in the state,” Atiku said.
State ADC Chairman, Alhaji Kabiru Garba, revealed that the event drew participants from all 14 local government areas, including youths and women. He described the ADC as “a united and strong family in the state,” adding, “We are always recording great successes as our party is receiving new members on daily basis. Zamfara is a home of ADC. We are going to make sure that transparent leadership is brought to Zamfara by the ADC.”
