
A beneficiary of the free medical outreach checking her blood pressure

In an effort to complement Governor Uba Sani’s health initiative, Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC) Stakeholders Forum, Kaduna State ,AbdulAzeez Kaka has reached out over the weekend to over 300 beneficiaries suffering from various ailments but could not afford medical bills.
The free medical reach out held in Malali, a suburb located in Northern part of the state capital, saw women and children as well as the elderly accessing free drugs and treatments after undergoing diagnosis on different ailments.
Brief talks on community health practices and ways to remain healthy were given by professionals, followed by screenings on hypertension, diabetes, sugar level blood pressure, malaria among others.
Mass deworming of children was also part of the free treatments accessed at the location of the medical outreach.

Kaka stated that Governor Uba Sani’s passion for healthcare of the masses was the driving force behind the free medical exercise in order to complement the good effort of the present administration to revamp primary health.
He also mentioned his desire to positively touch lives, particularly those of his primary constituents, the people of Badarawa Malali Ward as another reason for the free medical outreach.
While paying glowing tribute to Seyi Tinubu, Kaka acknowledged material and moral supports from the son of the president.
“If you look around, you will see the surging number of people with enthusiasm to submit themselves for this free medical exercise, designed to diagnose and give free drugs and treatments to a number of ailments that are common but fatal if left untreated.
“We have over the years empowered close to 3000 beneficiaries with various vocations so they could be financially independent and shoulder the responsibilities of their families.
“I will enjoin my people, especially the good and hard-working people of Kaduna North to cooperate and support our amiable Governor Uba Sani who has achieved within two years an unprecedented feat in transforming the State beyond our expectations.
“I want to also urge our people to be positive in the leadership of President Bola Tinubu who is determined to carry out reforms that will have a long term gains for the country.
“We are all witnesses of the crashing of the prices of essential food items in the market which will continue gradually until we get there,”he assured.

Kaka, founder of Kowa Namu Ne Foundation disclosed that several community development projects had been initiated and carried out by the foundation with support from Seyi Tinubu for the benefit of the people.
A beneficiary of the free sugar screening and drug Musa Isa commended Kaka, urging other financially capable individuals to follow suit by reaching out to the masses.
A beneficiary of diabetes treatment Suwaiba Alkali said she had over the years been suffering from the ailment with no fund to access medical attention, until today when it was brought to his doorstep by Kaka.
Another beneficiary, Larai Yusuf, whose three kids accessed free deworming drugs was full of praises for Kaka, whom she described as caring and committed to the interest of his people.
She challenged elected representatives of the people to emulate Kaka, saying if he could reach out to the grassroots in his capacity as a private citizen, he could do more as an elected official.
