President Bola Tinubu and Benue State Governor, Hyacinth Alia
Renewed Hope Interfaith Movement has assured that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Hyacinth Alia would achieve a smooth victory in the upcoming 2027 presidential and
gubernatorial elections.
Members of the movement, who made this decision during a meeting in Makurdi, resolved to mobilise support for both President Tinubu and Governor Alia to secure their return in the general elections.
Addressing the members, the Director General of the movement, Hon. King Samuel, urged all participants to work collaboratively for the movement’s progress and expressed confidence that the people of Benue would give their mandate to President Tinubu and Governor Alia in the 2027 elections.
The DG explained that all support groups have been integrated into the Benue State Amalgamated APC Support Group for Tinubu/Alia 2027, a subsidiary of the Renewed Hope Interfaith Movement.
He noted that all members hail from various faiths and are working towards the success of President Tinubu and Governor Alia.
The State Director of the movement, Bishop Mike Angou, appealed for peace and cooperation among members, emphasising the importance of consolidating the numerous support groups into the Benue State APC Amalgamated Support Group for Tinubu/Alia 2027 elections.
In their individual remarks, the State Coordinators for Christians and Muslims, Pastor Paul Ochomma and Mallam Baba Ahmed respectively, stated they are responsible for coordinating members of their faiths and called for members’ cooperation to ensure the success of their candidates.
The Sarkin Hausawa, Iman Sani Yusuf, representing the traditional institution, urged members not to waver but to remain focused and dedicated to the achievement of their goals.
As part of the movement’s initiatives, members agreed to organise a one- million-man march on 20 April 2027, involving the state’s Amalgamated APC Support Group Inclusion Forum for Tinubu/Alia 2027.
