The visit also comes ahead of today’s flag-off of the rehabilitation of the Bama-Banki Road and the Dikwa-Gamboru-Ngala Road, two strategic corridors expected to strengthen movement, trade, security access, and recovery efforts across communities affected by years of insurgency in Borno State @GovBorno.
The road projects form part of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s @officialABAT broader infrastructure renewal agenda, aimed at reconnecting communities, opening up economic routes, and supporting the full restoration of livelihoods in the North East.
Bama, Banki, Dikwa, Gamboru and Ngala are key border and commercial communities whose recovery is central to the return of normal life, cross-border trade, and long-term stability in the region.
