The Director General, National Commission for Women Development (NCWD), Dr Asabe Vilita Bashir has joined other Nigerians to congratulate Professor Babagana Umara Zulum on the occasion of his 52nd birthday.
Dr. Bashir in a congratulatory message made available to newsmen in Maiduguri, described Professor Zulum as a courageous, reliable and compassionate leader.
The Director General added that Zulum had spent a longer part of his life serving humanity as a lecturer, rector, commissioner and governor, which has proved that he is an advocate of good governance who leaves no stone unturned in his quest for examplary leadership and service to the people of Borno State.
She further described the governor as a dogged fighter, a strong voice in the fight against insurgency, injustice and a man who never shy away from speaking the truth always and anywhere.
The DG prayed God Almighty to give the governor long life and good health in order to continue to serve his people while wishing him many more useful and productive years in life.
“Governor Zulum has spent his entire life in the service of his people. He is a patriotic Nigerian who is very passionate about one united, peaceful and progressive Nigeria. A compassionate leader who is ever concerned about the welfare of his people,” DG NCWD said.
