Again, APC National Chairman Adamu Abdullahi loses own polling unit in Nasarawa

The National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Abdullahi Adamu, lost his polling unit to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the rescheduled Governorship and State House of Assembly. 

Adamu had earlier on February 25, during he Presidential and National Assembly Elections, lost in his Angwarimi Ward, GRA A1, LERCEST Office in Keffi, Nasarawa State to the Presidential candidate of Labour Party, Peter Obi.

Obi had won the unit after polling 132 votes, while the APC got 85 votes for the second position.

In the Senatorial election: APC got 55 votes, LP scored 42 votes, the PDP polled 22 votes, NNPP (4), ADC (1), ZLP (3) and SDP (184).

The elections which held at the GRA (A1) Polling Unit 010, in Keffi, headquarters of Keffi local government area of the State, saw PDP polling a total of 159 votes, while the ruling party polled 129 votes.

According to the results announced, the Social Democratic Party (SDP) got one, while the Labour Party (LP) which created an upset during the February 25 Presidential and National Assembly elections recorded zero votes.

Adamu had earlier lost the polling unit to the Labour Party in the Presidential and National Assembly elections held three weeks ago.
