Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from Nasarawa North Senatorial District have endorsed President Bola Tinubu for a second term and Governor Abdullahi Sule to vie for the Nasarawa North Senatorial seat in 2027.
The decision was reached during an expanded stakeholders meeting on Sunday in Akwanga.
A former Secretary to Nasarawa State Government, Mr. Timothy Anjide, read the communiqué at the end of the meeting, saying, “We, therefore, unanimously pass a vote of confidence on Governor Abdullahi Sule, with a strong call and appeal to him to represent Nasarawa North in the Senate come 2027.”
The stakeholders appreciated Governor Sule’s commitment to inclusive governance and impactful developmental strides.
Anjide said the stakeholders had resolved to work in unity and solidarity to strengthen the APC across all polling units, wards, and local government areas in the senatorial district.
“The meeting emphasized discipline, inclusion, and grassroots mobilization,” he added.
The stakeholders also endorsed President Tinubu for a second term, recognizing his vision, leadership, and developmental focus.
Mr. Mohammed Muluku, the Commissioner for Water Resources and Rural Development, moved a motion for the endorsement of Tinubu’s second term and called for Sule to contest the Senate seat.
Rep. Jeremiah Umaru and other stakeholders urged all APC stakeholders to unite for the victory of the party in 2027 and beyond.
The meeting ended on a note of renewed hope, shared vision, and collective responsibility to uphold the ideals and objectives of the APC in the district and beyond.
