Borno State APC Governorship candidate, Engr. Mustapha Gubio
All Progressives Congress (APC) consensus governorship candidate for Borno State, Mustapha Gubio, has successfully completed the party’s screening exercise ahead of the forthcoming governorship election.
The screening exercise was conducted by the All Progressives Congress Screening Committee at the Kaduna State Liaison Office in Abuja and chaired by the APC National Deputy Chairman (South), alongside other members of the committee.
The successful completion of the screening process marks another significant milestone in Engr. Gubio’s political journey and further strengthens his emergence as the APC consensus candidate for the Borno State governorship race.
Speaking shortly after the exercise, supporters and party stakeholders described the screening process as smooth, transparent and successful, reaffirming their commitment to the unity, stability and continued progress of the APC in Borno State.
They expressed confidence in Engr. Gubio’s leadership capacity, wealth of experience and development-driven vision, noting that his candidature represents continuity, inclusiveness and sustainable growth for the state.
Engr. Gubio was accompanied to the screening venue by prominent political figures and stakeholders, including Mohammed Tahir Monguno, Bukar Talba and Vungas Saleh, alongside party loyalists and supporters who turned out in solidarity and confidence in his candidature.
