
Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum

Network of Civil Society Organizations Borno State (NECSOB) has commended Governor Babagana Zulum, for his continued commitment to safeguarding lives and property,.
It promised to collaborate with the government and reconstituted high powered committee recently inaugurated to address the alarming rise in social vices across Maiduguri and other parts of the state.
A statement issued and signed by the Executive Director of NECSOB, Amb. Bulama Abiso, and made available to newsmen in Maiduguri, said this initiative is a welcome and strategic addition to the governor’s broader efforts in strengthening security, promoting social stability, and fostering community resilience.
The group said it reflects his consistent leadership in addressing not just insurgency, but also the underlying social conditions that threaten peace and development while pledging its support through Inclusive collaboration.
“We also commend the Governor for his sustained and multifaceted security measures, which continue to restore hope and stability to communities affected by conflict.
“From enhancing collaboration with security agencies to investing in community policing, rehabilitation programs, and support for victims of insurgency, His Excellency’s efforts underscore a deep commitment to the long-term peace and security of Borno State.”
The Network reaffirmed its commitment to supporting government programs and initiatives that aim to create a safer, healthier, and more productive environment for all citizens, especially the youth.
“We look forward to continued collaboration with the government and security stakeholders to achieve the shared goal of a peaceful and prosperous Borno,” the statement said.
