Borno Govt donates combat motorcycles to troops of Operation Hadin Kai

Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum, has approved the donation of eighteen (18) combat and patrol motorcycles to the 25 Brigade Damboa, as part of effort to boost the combat efficiency of the military unit.
The presentation was made, on behalf of the State Government, by the Commissioner of Information and Internal Security, Prof. Usman Tar on Wednesday.
The Commissioner was represented by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Modu Alhaji Mustapha FCNA at Musa Usman Secretariat complex Maiduguri.
While receiving the motorcycles on behalf of the ministry, Brigadier General Rasheed Omolori who is the commander of 25 Brigade, Damboa appreciates Governor Zulum’s for his swift response in supporting military operations.
General Omolori promised to deploy the motorcycles in combat operations and sentry duty. “On behalf of the Theatre Commander, Major General Waidi Shuaibu, “
“I hereby acknowledge receipt and take custody of 18 units of combat motorcycles being generous donation of the Borno State Government to the Theatre.
“I wish to assure Gov Zulum and the good people of Borno that the motorcycles will enhance our capability to confront our enemies with speed of action” affirmed General Omolori.
It will be recalled that over the years, the Borno State Government has consistently provided support to military units and formations within the state. The includes combat and transport vehicles, spare parts, excavators, bulldozers, surveillance cameras, fuel and lubricants.
In attendance during the presentation were Babagana Mustapha, Director Administration and Supply, Jarma Buba, Director Finance and Account and host of other staff of the Ministry. End
