Speaker of the Borno State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Abdulkarim Lawan, and the Managing Director of Ajmal Traveling and Tours, Alhaji Annur Abubakar Mecca, have extended their warmest congratulations to Hon. Ali Bukar Dalori on his appointment as the Acting National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Lawan commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for directing the former Chairman to hand over the affairs of the party to Hon. Dalori for continuity and progress.
“On behalf of the Honourable members, management, and staff of the Borno State House of Assembly, I congratulated Hon. Ali Bukar Dalori for his emergence as the Acting National Chairman of our great party, APC,” Lawan said.
Lawan described Dalori’s appointment as “a square peg in a round hole,” noting that the new acting Chairman will reconcile all aggrieved members of the party for progress and inclusivity.
“This milestone signifies a remarkable achievement in the career of a man whose journey from grassroots activism to national leadership exemplifies dedication, resilience, and unwavering commitment to Nigeria’s democratic development,” Lawan added.
Mecca also praised Dalori’s leadership qualities, saying, “The appointment of Hon.
Ali Bukar Dalori as Acting National Chairman of our great party, APC, is a clear recognition of his vast political experience, dedication to the party, and outstanding record in grassroots mobilisation across the country.”
Both Lawan and Mecca expressed confidence that Dalori’s tenure will strengthen party unity, deepen democratic values, and foster inclusive governance in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
“I am confident that his tenure will strengthen party unity, deepen democratic values, and foster inclusive governance,” Mecca said.
Lawan assured Dalori of the Borno State House of Assembly’s continued support and cooperation, saying, “We want to assure Dalori and the APC of our continued support and cooperation as we prepare for yet another unprecedented victory at the local, state, and federal level in the next general elections come 2027.”
Mecca prayed that Allah grant Dalori wisdom, good health, and protection as he steers the affairs of the party. “We pray that Allah grant Hon. Dalori wisdom, good health, and protection as he steers the affairs of the greatest political party in Africa,” Mecca said.
