Solemn moment as President Tinubu, VP Shettima, and government officials receive the remains of former President Muhammadu Buhari at Katsina Airport ahead of his burial in Daura today.

The body of former President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived at the Umaru Musa Yar’adua International Airport in Katsina, marking the beginning of his final journey.
Accompanied by Vice President Kashim Shettima, Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila, and family members, the late leader’s remains were received by dignitaries, including Governor Dikko Radda and Deputy Senate President Barau Jibril.
The body, draped in the Nigerian flag, was respectfully brought down from the Nigerian Air Force aircraft by military officials.
Buhari’s remains will be taken to Daura, his hometown, where he will be laid to rest after a military farewell ceremony.
