Galadiman of Nasarawa, Alhaji Umaru Tsoho Suleiman died on Sunday after a protected illness

One of the oldest traditional tittle holder of Nasarawa Emirate Council in Nasarawa Local Government Area of Nasarawa state has died at the age of 88 years.

A statement issued and signed by the Secretary to Nasarawa Emirate Council, Hon. Dr. Idris Mohammed Loko which was made available to newsmen on Sunday, said the late Galadiman Nasarawa, Alhaji Umaru Tsoho Suleiman died today Sunday after a protected illness in Nasarawa.

The statement added that the late Galadiman of Nasarawa was born in 1933 and was turbaned Galadima 49 years ago. The traditional tittle was conferred on him by the 9th Emir of Nasarawa late Alhaji Jibrin Mairiga in 1972.

According to the statement, the deceased left behind three wives and many children, grand children and great grand children. He has since been buried according to Muslim rite in Nasarawa .

Burial prayer was led by His Royal Highness , the Emir of Nasarawa, Alhaji Ibrahim Usman Jibrin who is also the former Minister of Environment under President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration.

Emirs, Chiefs , Emirate Council Members and other traditional title rulers attended the funeral prayer which was held at the Emir’s Palace Nasarawa.
