Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, has emerged as the Chairman of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Governor’s forum.
Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State announced this on Saturday shortly after the 13 governors of PDP held a one-day retreat for elected officials in Bauchi.
The meeting was attended by the Acting National PDP Chairman, Umar Damagum, and Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, PDP presidential candidate in the 2023 general election.
The Bauchi Governor will be assisted by Siminialayi Fubara, Governor of Rivers State.
Governor Bala Mohamned in his remarks, assured that he would work for the interest of the party. He also said the chairmanship is an honour done to him and the people of Bauchi state.
He however did not give details of issues discussed at the retreat that lasted for four hours.
