Gov Sule condoles DAAR Communications group over death of Dokpesi

Governor Abdullahi Sule, has condoled DAAR Communications, the owners of AIT and Ray Power Radio stations over the death of its founder, Chief Raymond Dokpesi.

Recalled that Chief Dokpesi, Chairman of DAAR Communications, died on Monday, at the age of 71 in Abuja hospital after he suffered a stroke.

The governor in a statement signed by Ibrahim Addra, his Chief Press Secretary, expressed grief over the sudden death of Chief Dokpesi, whom he described as an astute entrepreneur. 

The statement said the governor recalls with nostalgia “Chief Dokpesi’s foray into the Nigerian media space and his many accomplishments in the sector”

 “Today DAAR Communications and its flagship, the Africa Independent Television, AIT are eloquent testimonies of the late Chief’s vision and long time commitment. He will be greatly missed”

“Engr. Abdullahi Sule then prayed God to accept the soul of Chief Raymond Dokpesi and forgive his shortcomings”

“He equally condoles his immediate family, the Board and Management of DAAR Communication, staff, associates and friends of the late media guru, praying God grants them the fortitude to bear this loss” he said.
