“Let me inform you and the good people of Taraba State that political exigencies have transformed the 10th Assembly to a single party House. This may seem unprecedented but the benefits are not quantifiable. This will enhance unity, partnership, synergy and collaboration to facilitate development for the people. The decision to join the APC was done after due consultation with our constituents.
“I commend you for some of the modest achievements so far. People call the 10th Assembly a rubber stamp Assembly but the members are elected to work with the Executive and not to antagonise them. We would go with you everywhere you go. I promise accelerated legislative action to ensure timely passage, taking note of all that needs to be done in line with our rules” the speaker assured.
