The Jamiyyatu Ansaarudeen Attijaniyya (JAMAA) has appointed its Director General who will coordinate, manage and conceptualise the establishment and operations of the First Aid Group of the Jamiyyatu Ansaarudeen Attijaniyya (JAMAA) in Nigeria.
A statement issued and signed on Monday by the National Secretary of the organisation, , Sayyadi Muhammad Qasim Yahaya and made available to newsmen in Maiduguri, said the appointment take effective from 21st August 2022.
According to the statement, the organisation which is a duly registered organisation with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) Abuja has a constituted Board of Trustees (BOT) comprising of reputable and eminent personalities across strata of the society of high calibre and integrity .
The National Secretary added that the Director General’s responsibilities as Head of the Directorate of First Aid and Health Services (DFAHS) of the Jamiyyatu Ansaarudeen Attijaniyya (JAMAA) is to ensure that the directorate is operational with in line with constitution and structures of the organization.
The statement noted also that other directorates would be headed by a Director with supporting operational units or departments as may be required while the Directorate’s responsibilities or schedules will be subjected to review from time to time by the National Executive Council (NEC) or Board of Trustees (BOT) as the case may be, the Directorate of First Aid & Health Services.
It further charged the DG with the responsibility of conceptualizing and establishing a vibrant, operational of functional and modern framework of systematic, coordinated and effective First Aid, Civil Security outfit and Health Policies for the organization (JAMAA).
Others include to be responsible for the formulation of security policies for the organization; develop a vibrant and responsive health system for the organization, oversee the management and routine services of the first aid outfit all over the nation and establish formidable structures and protocols necessary for the smooth and efficient running of the first aid outfit towards ensuring that it meet up with the best global practices.
Similarly, the Director General is responsible for the design of uniforms and regalia of the first aid outfit and to carry out any other assignment and /or duty that may be assigned to him from time to time by the NEC or BOT in the.cause of discharging his duties and responsibilities as provided in the constitution.
