Miyetti Allah endorses Atiku, other PDP candidates for 2023

As campaigns for the 2023 general elections continue to gain momentum, the Miyatti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN), has declared their support for candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) at all levels.

Making their positions known in Sokoto, the state Chairman of MACBAN, Alhaji Muhammadu Magaji Gabuwa Silame said their decision was premised on the failure of the APC led federal government.

Mahammadu Magaji who spoke through his deputy, Alhaji Umaru Abdullahi Wababe assured that they will mobilize their members across Sokoto and Nigeria to ensure victory for PDP candidates.

Wababe spoke during a brief ceremony to receive members of Miyatti Allah from Wurno Local Government Area, who defected from APC to the PDP.

Collaborating the position of Wababe, the Chairman of Miyatti Allah Cattle Breeders Association, Wurno Local Government Chapter, Ardo Shehu Suleiman said they had previously voted APC out of ignorance, adding that they have realized their mistakes hence decamping to PDP in order to vote APC out of office.

A statement by the Publicity Secretary of Sokoto’s PDP, Hassan Sahabi Sanyinnawal,
said the association further commended Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal for his numerous people oriented projects and programmes.

Receiving the decampees, PDP state chairman, Hon. Bello Aliyu Goronyo, assured them of equal treatment.

The state PDP chairman further appealed to Miyetti Allah members to use their wealth of experience and embark on door-to- door campaigns towards ensuring that all the Fulani herdsmen and women vote for PDP candidates at all levels.

Dignitaries, who also witnessed the defection in Sokoto include, Commissioner of Commerce and Industries, Alhaji Bashir Gidado, Wurno Local government Council Chairman, Hon. Abubakar Arzika and PDP Chairman Wurno Local Government, Hon. Yusuf Marafa Wurno, among others.
