NDE organizes 4 day Basic Business Training in Sokoto

The National Directorate of Employment (NDE) has flagged off a 4 day Basic Business Training (BBT) for 30 participants on Enviroprenurship Development Scheme (EDS)

Addressing the participants at the Shamsudeen Plaza, Sokoto, the Director General, National Directorate of Employment, Malam Abubakar Nuhu Fipko noted that, the era of waiting for white collar job is long gone, hence the need to become an entrepreneur. 

Fipko, who was represented by the Sokoto State Coordinator of NDE, Muhammed Umar Sanda said enviroprenurship is a fore most entrepreneurial orientation that focuses on environmental problems and accommodate societal needs while the same time meet economic objectives of the society. 

He said: ”’Enviropreneur sees the world as a place full of resources and can also nature a culture of life cycle based on thinking of how to turn waste to wealth within the rules and norms of the society and in cognizance of regulatory instruments”‘.

While noting that  BBT is an important tool towards a successful entrepreneurship, Umar Sanda said, the  training will inculcate entrepreneurship skills and enhance competence in managing business of whatever form. 

He further assured that certificates will be awarded to participants at the end of the 4 day training. 

Reacting to the opportunity, one of the participants,  Yusuf Abubakar thanked the federal government through the NDE for considering them for such a live changing training.

He further assured that, they will positively use whatever experience gained from the training to ensure that they become not only self employed but employers of labour subsequently.
