Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani
Non-Indigenes Association of Kaduna State has commended Governor Uba Sani for his exemplary leadership, inclusive governance style, and steadfast commitment to the protection of lives and property across the state.
In a statement issued on Thursday and jointly signed by Chief Lazarus Ndu Ama, the Convener; Chief Niyi Folabi, Co-Convener; Chief Johnny Nwankwere, and Mary Okon Nkwo, the Secretary and Public Relations Officer respectively, the association described the Governor’s approach to governance as a model of unity, equity, and fairness.
The group lauded the Governor’s pro-poor policies and massive infrastructural development projects that cut across both urban and rural areas, noting that they have improved the living standards of residents irrespective of origin, faith, or ethnicity.
“Since assuming office, Governor Uba Sani has continued to demonstrate that Kaduna State belongs to everyone who lives, works, and contributes to its development, regardless of religious or ethnic background,” the statement read in part.
According to the association, the Governor’s deliberate and inclusive policies have created an enabling environment where non-indigenes, both Christians and Muslims, feel accepted, valued, and integrated into the social and economic fabric of the state.
The group particularly applauded the administration’s proactive measures in improving security, strengthening peacebuilding initiatives, and fostering collaboration between security agencies and local communities efforts they said have enhanced stability in many parts of the state.
They also commended the Governor for his continued support for vulnerable groups, youth and women empowerment programmes, job creation initiatives, and sustained investments in education and healthcare, which have positively impacted both indigenes and non-indigenes.
While acknowledging the prevailing atmosphere of peace, unity, and religious harmony, the association recalled that Kaduna was once portrayed as a divided state but has now undergone remarkable transformation.
It pledged continued cooperation with the government to sustain peace, deepen interfaith relations, and promote development across the state.
