Air Peace airline on Wednesday said a passenger on one of its flights allegedly stole the sum of N1 million from another passenger’s suitcase before been arrested.
The incident occurred on July 27 on board Abuja-PHC aircraft P47192, according to a statement from the airline’s spokesperson, Mr. Stanley Olisa, issued in Lagos.
According to Olisa, the suspect stole the money from a brown envelope but was apprehended by the owner of the money with the help of airline workers.
Olisa said that Air Peace staff would continue to be security conscious and urged passengers to be more careful with their personal items on board.
