As part of efforts to promote fairness and balanced representation in federal appointments, the Plateau North Equity Project (PNEP) has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for nominating Hon. Dr. Bernard Mohammed Doro from Plateau North as a minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
The group, in a statement issued in Jos on October 27, described the nomination as a reflection of justice and inclusion for the people of Plateau North.
According to the statement jointly signed by the Chairman, Hon. Samuel Parah, and Secretary, Hon. In their words:
“Your Excellency, the appointment of Bernard Mohammed Doro is appropriate, in view of his capacity and integrity, which will contribute immensely to the attainment of the Renewed Hope Agenda for Nigeria.”
PNEP also commended key leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Plateau State for their unity and coordination, which, according to the group, made the appointment possible.

The group further appealed to the Senate to give favourable consideration to the President’s nominee during screening, while reaffirming its commitment to the President’s policy direction.
“We wish to respectfully appeal to the Senate to give Mr. President’s nominee favourable consideration during the screening. Again, we appreciate Your Excellency and wish to re-echo our unflinching support for the Renewed Hope Agenda of Mr. President.”
