
The People's Democratic Party (PDP) Chairman in Nasarawa State, Alhaji Adamu Bako Ninga

The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Chairman in Nasarawa State, Alhaji Adamu Bako Ninga, has called for peace in the state and Nigeria, as Muslims world over celebrate the joyous occasion of Eid al-Adha.
Alhaji Ninga, made the call during a courtesy calls on him by individuals and groups, who paid him Sallah homage.
He emphasized the profound significance of the festival, noting that it symbolizes sacrifice, obedience, and devotion to Almighty Allah.
The PDP chairman, who holds the traditional title of Talban Mada, urged Muslims to reflect on the core lessons of the celebration, which include compassion, generosity, and submission to the will of God.
“As we commemorate Eid al-Adha, let us be reminded of the spirit of sacrifice exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham), peace be upon him”
“This significant occasion calls for us to deepen our faith, uphold the virtues of peaceful coexistence, and extend a hand of fellowship to our neighbors, irrespective of their religious and political beliefs” he said.
Ninga, who called on PDP members in the state to remain united, highlighted the importance of unity and understanding, as he appealed to them to continue to live in peace and harmony.
Speaking on the crisis rocking the party at both the state and national levels, the Chairman expressed confidence that the party will sumount its present predicaments and come out very strong during the 2027 general elections.
He dismissed the wave of defections that is shrinking the population of the party, saying “is not about Governors leaving PDP, it is all about the Nigerian massas who are with us in PDP and you know, masses have the final say at the polls, so we are always the winners” he said.
