The Leader of the Cherubim and Seraphim Church Worldwide, Prophet Samuel Adefila Abidoye, has stated that Nigeria would experience peace and deliverance from all the security challenges bedeviling the country when Christians turn to God and earnestly seek his face.
A statement made available to NATIONAL ACCORD on Sunday evening, indicated that he made the call during the 2021 Mount Horeb Ascension programme.
Prophet Abidoye said that the Bible in 2 Chronicles 7:14 says: “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land’.
“Let us go back to the Lord for blessing, protection and for peace in Nigeria and for He will deliver us from our numerous problems of insurgence, kidnapping, banditry, political instability, bad governance etc. I assure that God will fight for us and He will give us victory.”
He stated that it is time for Nigerians to humble themselves and seek the face of the Lord over lives, families and the Nation in general.
“It is a period when we need to commit all our leaders in this country to the hands of the Lord for God’s wisdom to function according to His will for our dear Country.
“It is a period when we need to re-direct the affairs of our nation prayerfully and just like the 2021 General Theme of our Church ‘Absolute Liberation’, it is a period when we need to ask God to take absolute Control of Nigeria and the world at large,” he admonished.
He stressed that, “I am overwhelmed for the graciousness of our Lord Jesus Christ for this golden opportunity to be alive to commence preparation for the celebration of another Mount Horeb Ascension Programme of our great Church which comes up in the first week of May Annually”.
