
Vice President Kashim Shettima joins Muslim faithful in observing Eid al-Adha prayers

Vice-President Kashim Shettima has arrived in Maiduguri, Borno State capital, to celebrate Eid-el-Kabir with his family and the people of the state.
Before departing Abuja, Shettima joined other Muslim faithful in observing Eid-Kabir prayers at the National Eid ground.
Upon arrival at the Muhammadu Buhari International Airport in Maiduguri, Shettima was warmly received by Governor Babagana Zulum, Speaker of the Borno State House of Assembly, Abdulkarim Lawan, and other top government officials.
The Eid-el-Kabir celebration commemorates Prophet Ibrahim’s unwavering faith and willingness to sacrifice his son in obedience to God’s command, a story that resonates deeply with Muslims worldwide.
