Anambra State Governor, Chukwuma Soludo has appointed Prof. Kate Omenugha as the acting Vice Chancellor of the state owned Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University.
The Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr Christian Aburime, stated this in a statement on Wednesday.
Omenugha is a professor of Mass Communication at the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka and immediate past Commissioner for Education in Anambra.
According to Aburime, Gov. Soludo has approved the appointment of Prof. Omenugha as acting Vice-Chancellor replacing Prof. Greg Nwakoby whose tenure has expired.
He also approved Prof. Louis Orakwue a Project Coordinator, Anambra State Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project (RAAMP).
He said their appointments were with immediate effect.
