Benue State Governor, Hyacinth Alia and the Tor Tiv and President Tiv Area Traditional Council, His Royal Majesty Orcivirigh Prof James Ortese Iorzua Ayatse

The Paramount Ruler of the Tiv nation, the Tor Tiv, Orcivirigh Prof James Ortese Iorzua Ayatse, has called on Governor Hyacinth Alia to sustain his landmark achievements through massive infrastructural development of the state.
Tor Tiv on behalf of the Benue State Council of Traditional Rulers as well as the Tiv Traditional Council said this in his message to the Governor on his one year in office
A statement by the Special Assistant to the Tor Tiv on Media and ICT, Freddie Adamgbe quoted Tor Tiv as saying that Governor Alia’s policies and programs have positivity impacted on Benue citizens and restored the hope of the common man in the state, expressing confidence in the capacity of the Governor to execute more projects that will definitely move Benue to its position not only as the Food Basket of the nation but also the economic hub of the country.
Tor Tiv, according to the statement assured Governor Alia of the unalloyed support and cooperation of the Benue Traditional Rulers for the success of his administration, Orcivirigh Ayatse prays for more years and good health for the governor.
Prog. Ayatse In a similar manner extended his congratulatory message to the Speaker of the Benue State House of Assembly, Hon Hyacinth Aôndona Dajo on his 48th birthday which coincides with his one year in office as Speaker.
Tor Tiv lauded the performances of the Speaker especially in the provision of a modern infrastructure for traditional rulers in his constituency which he noted is a clear demonstration of outstanding and exemplary leadership style.
He sued for a formidable state legislature that would work in synergy with the executive and judicial arms of the government for peace and development of Benue State.
