Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State has donated the sum of 50 million naira to Eunice Spring of Life Foundation (ESLF),the foundation of the first lady of Benue State, Dr Eunice Ortom, to facilitate completion of its Integrated Health Facility located in Apir, Makurdi LGA.
Governor Wike made the donation today in Makurdi when the ESLF’s Founder and Wife of Governor of the state Dr Eunice Ortom led him and other members of the PDP G5 integrity Governors on a tour of the facility.
He stated that the project when completed would have great impact on people of the state especially in light of increase in drug abuse incidences in the country.
He therefore, urged Mrs. Ortom to continue to use her Foundation to improve the lives of people of the State
“I believe that when this project comes to fruition, it will help people of the state” wike said adding that he would continue to support the progress of the work.
Wike and the PDP G5 comprising Governors of Oyo, Abia and Ekiti were in Benue State to commission roads and electrification projects executed by Governor Samuel Ortom
The ESLF Integrated Heath Center which is currently under construction is designed to house a mother and child unit, drug rehabilitation unit and skills acquisition unit with complete doctor and patient quarters.
