Former Rivers State Governor and FCT Minister, Nyesome Wike

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mr Donald Amagbo, has commended President Bola Tinubu, for his wise decision in appointing the immediate past Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, as FCT Minister.
The APC chieftain, who hails from Nasarawa State, stated this in Lafia, while speaking with journalists on the portfolio of ministers to be sworn in on Monday, by President Tinubu.
Mr. Amagno, who is media professional said, having such a great man with hard work and passion for development as the minister of FCT, will bring massive change to the nation’s capital.
“It is with great pleasure and sense of satisfaction that I join other well meaning Nigerians, both home and abroad, to celebrate an achiever, a trailblazer and a leader par excellence”.
“Indeed, Wike’s nomination and subsequent confirmation by the Senate, as a minister designate did not come to some of us as a surprise, owing to his track records of services as a council chairman, minister of state and Governor of Rivers State, which left landmark achievements”.
“These and many more are the reasons why I joyfully celebrate his coming as the minister of FCT, as we look forward to his contributions in taking the nation’s capital city to a greater height” he said.
According to him, the sacrifices made by the FCT minister designate in Rivers State as a governor, had shown competence and capacity.
He added that Wike has the charisma to deliver on his mandate as FCT minister.
