Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum has commended the efforts of Hon. Ahmed Usman Jaha, the House of Representatives member representing Damboa, Chibok and Gwoza Federal Constituency of the state .
The governor stated this on Saturday at the Multi Purpose Hall of the Government House Maiduguri while distributing four hospital ambulances, 360 deep freezers, 100 sewing machines and 13 Toyota Seinna 2005 model space wagon as empowerment facilities for some members of the Damboa, Chibok and Gwoza Federal constituency
In his remarks, Hon. Jaha, who is also the Chairman, House Committee on NDIC, said he was able to get support and assistance from friends and associates among others to enable him donate four hospital ambulances to Ngoshe, Chibok, Gwoza and Damboa clinics.
He also disclosed that his friends and associates donated 100 sewing machines and 60 deep freezers that were distributed to the beneficiaries by the governor as empowerment support to his constituents. While 300 other deep freezers were donated by the Executive Chairlady, of Nigerian Center for Women Development (NCWD)., Dr. Asabe Bashir Vilita.
The Federal Lawmaker added that he however purchased 13 Toyota Sienna, four wheel drive space wagon as campaign vehicles during the past electioneering campaign era which now he presented them to the governor for distribution to various constituency members.
Highlights of the event include photographs, presentation of keys to the beneficiaries.
