Zulum launches Armed Forces Remembrance Emblem with N10, million, donates Hilux van

Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum has flagged off 2023 Nigeria Armed Forces Remembrance Day Celebration at Ramat square Maiduguri.

Zulum also launched the appeal fund for the 2023 Emblem for the Armed Forces Remembrance Day with a sum of 10 million Naira (10,000,000) and further donated a brand new Toyota Hilux van to the armed forces.

The governor also donated another N2 million, trailer load bags of rice for about 200 families of the fallen heroes.

He commended President Muhammadu Buhari, the Nigerian Armed Forces, police forces, CJTF, hunters, Vigilante hunters and all other security agencies who are working in synergy at the front line to ensure safety of lives and prosperities of all citizenry across the state and the country at large.

Zulum added that the funds were raised to assist the bereaved families who lost their loved ones.

He also promised that his administration will continue to support the bereaved families in all terms and also prayed for Almighty Allah to continue to guide and protect the soldiers and all other security agencies who are combating crimes and criminalities.
