Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum has named the newly constructed Metro Housing Estate after the Vice President Kashim Shettima.
He also named Mega Government Secondary School Mari located along Bama Road Maiduguri newly constructed and commissioned after VP Shettima.
Governor Zulum further named Dalamairi Government t Day Secondary School after the Shehu of Borno, HRH, Alhaji Abubakar Garbai Ibn Umar El Kanemi and the newly constructed and commissioned 500 housing estate along Old Kano road Maiduguri after the Yobe State Governor , Hon. Mai Mala Buni.
He appreciated the support and cooperation of the Yobe State Governor and his entourage for honouring his invitation while assuring his counterpart continuous cordial and peaceful interactions and relationships in future.
Zulum.alao.ackbkwledged the socio cultural and economic as well as political synergy between the two states in promoting and protecting the Kanemi Borno empire heritage.
Zulum added the projects were meant to improve basic infrastructural economics activities, to improve commercial and transportation in the city. He also assured the citizens of more developmental projects before the end of his administration
