Immediate past Minister of State for Budget and National Planning and frontline Edo State governorship aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prince Clem Ikanade Agba, has felicitated Edo people and Nigerians on the occasion of this year’s Christmas celebration.

Agba, in a statement, urged them, especially the Christian faithful, to embrace peace and show love to one another.

He also called on members of the political class to eschew politics of bitterness especially now that Edo State was going into electioneering period preparatory to the scheduled September 21, 2024 governorship election.

According to him: “All hands must be on deck to ensure that development in all its ramifications is the lot of the state.

“Christmas celebration is a constant reminder of God’s inimitable love to mankind. The Almighty God sent His only begotten son on a mission to reconcile a sinning, chaotic and dying world to Himself.

“While here, Jesus Christ became an exemplar of love and joy to humanity. We should therefore imbibe the spirit of love for one another, eschew bitterness for joy and pursue the good of our communities.”
