Ayu inspects PDP’s structures, pledges to complete National Secretariat

The new National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Iorchia Ayu on Tuesday inspected some of the properties belonging to the party in Abuja.

Senator Ayu, who was accompanied by other members of the National Working Committee (NWC) inspected all the rooms in Legacy House, located at the Central District Area.

He then proceeded to the Central Area beside Nicon Insurance to inspect the permanent site of the PDP Secretariat, which has remained a shadow of itself.

On arrival at the eleven storey building, Dr. Ayu expressed shock that such a beautiful building has remained uncompleted and assured that all available options will be explored to complete the building.

According to him, the building is supposed to be a money spinning structure that could have been generating revenue for the party. He pledged to consult with stakeholders to facilitate the completion of the building.

The PDP National Chairman told newsmen that when the building is completed, the party”s national officers will occupy two floors while the rest of the offices will be rented out for commercial purposes

The project supervisor on the site, Engineer Abdulaziz Asisi promised to complete the finishing of the building when funds are provided.
