PATRICK ABANG, Calabar –

The presiding Bishop of Christian Central Chapel International (CCCI), Dr. Emmah Isong has lauded Cross River State Governor, Bassey Otu for agricultural, human capital and infrastructural development in the state.

Bishop Isong, who is also the National Publicity Secretary of the Presbyterian Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), specially commended Governor Otu for reconstructing dilapidated roads that dotted the state capital, renovating the state library complex, Governor’s office among others

The cleric, while addressing newsmen recently in Calabar, said all this would not have been possible without the support of his wife, Mrs. Eyoanwan Bassey Otu, which he described as a gift to him and the state.

He described the football match between her (Eyoanwan Bassey Otu) all female team and the all male team of the governor to mark her 60th birthday as very competitive and commended her for making it an annual competition.

He called on Cross Riverians and residents of the state to support the governor to enable him provide them with the dividends of democracy.
