Buhari condoles Guinea-Bissau President over brother’s death

President Muhammadu Buhari has condoled with the President of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau, Umaro Sissoco Embaló, on the death of his older brother, Inoussa Embaló, following an illness.

President Buhari in a telephone conversation on Wednesday sympathized with the Guinean leader, who is also the Chairman of the Authority of ECOWAS Heads of State and Government.

He extended his condolences to the Embalós, the government and the people of Guinea-Bissau.

The Nigerian leader described the deceased as one of the iconic figures of the West African country.

He extended the deepest condolences of the government and people of Nigeria to the government and people of Guinea in this period of mourning.
