Dele Momodu declares interest for 2023 Presidency

A chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and veteran journalist, Chief Dele Momodu has declared his interest to run for the office of the president in 2023.

Chief Momodu, who is the Publisher of the famous Ovation magazine, made his intention known on Thursday at the PDP Secretariat in Abuja.

He was received by the National Chairman of PDP, Senator Iorchia Ayu.

Senator Ayu, who commended him for taking a wise decision to contest election on the platform of the PDP which he said is poised to wrestle power from the ruling All progressive Congress (APC) that has failed Nigerians.

He urged the media mogul to work hard by consulting with members of the party across the country to solicit for support as the party has no candidate in mind but is banking on aspirants to galvanize the support base of the party.

Chief Dele Momodu later addressed journalists where he solicited for their supports and prayers as he is one of them and will not let them down.

The presidential aspirant, however, said he is not intimidated by other aspirants that have acquired stolen monies but is optimistic that Nigerians will surely vote for him
