Federal University Wukari to graduate 120 first class students

The 6th and 7th combined convocation ceremony of the Federal University Wukari, in Taraba State which scheduled to hold on Saturday, March, 2024, at the Alh. Dr. Adamu Baba Convocation Square, is to graduate a total number of 3,031 Students across six faculties of the institution.

 

The Vice Chancellor of the institution, Prof. Jude Rabo disclosed  this during  a press conference on Friday.

 

Prof. Rabiu said a total of 3, 031 individuals will be conferred with Bachelor’s degrees, while 73 will be conferred with M.Sc. and MA degrees, as well as 20 candidates will be conferred with Postgraduate Diploma.

He reiterated that out of the candidates for Bachelor’s degrees, 120 have first class, while 1086 have second class upper, and 1441 obtained second class lower degrees, a total of 383 candidates have third class and only one candidate graduates with pass degree respectively.

The VC stressed that three eminent  citizens of Nigeria will be conferred with honorary degrees (Honoris Causa).

 

According to him, the paramount ruler of Kwararafa Kingdom, HRH the Aku Uka, Manu Ishaku Ali, who is also chairman Taraba State Council of Chiefs, will be conferred with the degree of Doctor of Science.

While Barr. Boss Mustapha will be conferred with Doctor of Law, and Chief Obadiah Ando will be honored with Doctor of Letters.

At the planned Convocation ceremony, some projects executed by the leadership of the present Vice Chancellor. Prof. Jude Rabo will also be commissioned.
