Gov. Kefas inaugurates Taraba State University visitation panel, others

Taraba State University, Dr. Agbu Kefas has inaugurated three separate committee’s to discharge their responsibilities for the betterment of the state.

The ceremony which took place on Friday at the EXCO chamber of Taraba State Government House inaugurated the former speaker Taraba State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon.Josiah Sabo Kente to chair eight man committee on Taraba State University (TSU) visitation panel.

Other committees are the screening and recommendation of suitable candidates for the appointment of the Head of Civil service in Taraba State, and the standing committee on Nwonyo Fishing Festival, chair by the Alh. Abdullahi Aminu Alkali, the deputy governor of Taraba State.

Delivery his inauguration speech, governor Agbu Kefas urged the committee to discharge their responsibilities with passion to fuel their actions and dedication to light their parts.

He stressed that the special TSU visitation panel tasks is more than a call to duty, but their actions reflect the future of Taraba State University education.

Kefas urged Deans of Faculties, Staff and Students of TSU to embrace the visitation panel with open hands, as their cooperation is the corner stone and progress to sharp the University education of Taraba State.

Gov. Kefas also appealed to the Nwonyo Fishing Festival committee to consider the feast as not just an event, but to revitalize the cultural heritage, unites communities that binds people together.

On the committee for the selection of head of civil service, the governor reiterated that is beyond selection process but finding leaders who will guide the state civil service with integrity and dedication.

Responding on behalf of the three inaugurated committee’s, the deputy governor of Taraba State, Alh. Abdullahi Aminu Alkali expressed his optimism and pledged they we delivered.

The deputy governor, who assured his principal for the excellent discharge of their duty, disclosed that many are called but few are chosen.
Therefore, as they are found worthy to serve in various committee’s they will not disappoint but delivered on their assignment.
