Hon. Zuwaira donates drugs worth N5m to kwaya kursa hospita

Borno State Commissioner of Women Affairs and Social Development , Hon. Hajiya Zuwaira Gambo has donated drugs to pregnancy women and sick children at Kwaya Kursa General Hospital located in kwaya kursa town of kwaya kursa LGC of the state on Thursday

The essential drugs worth over five million naira (₦5,000,000) were presented as personal donation and support to maternity, gynecology and pediatric units of the hospital to be distributed free of charge to the helpless and needy patients visiting the health facility.

The Commissioner also disbursed cash assistance to twenty four (24) patients needing urgent medical attention and treatment but have no money to meet up with their medical needs.

Hajiya Zuwaira presented the drugs and cash to the Coordinator in charge of the Kwaya kursa Hospital, Malam Umar Gwaske, at the premises of the hospital amidst appreciation and prayers from the out patients and staff of the hospital

She appealed to the management of the hospital to ensure that the drugs also reaches Gusi and Wandali dispensaries among others.

According to her, she personally decided to support and assist the needy and helpless persons in the hospital in the month of Ramadan Kareem while praying for more support and assistance in future

In his remark, the Coordinator on behalf of the staff and patients in the hospital appreciated the donor and prayed God to continue to reward her, give her the strength and will to continue to support and assist more people always while noting that God has used her to actually and undoubtedly alleviate medical needs/bills and financial burdens of many patients and their relations or families.
