A fuel tanker exploded late Friday in Freetown, capital of Sierra Leone, leaving large casualties.
Yvonne Aki-Sawyerr, mayor of the capital, confirmed the accident on social media on Saturday, calling the scene “harrowing.”
The country’s National Disaster Management Agency said on Saturday that they have “so many casualties.”
The exact figure of casualties has yet been confirmed.
