A member of the House of Representatives for Gwer East/ Gwer West Federal Constituency, Dr. Asema Achado has received a meritorious Award of Selfless Service by Makurdi- Club 1930.
Represented by the member, Benue State House of Assembly for Gwer East State Constituency, Hon. Elias Audu, extended his profound appreciation to Club 1930 for the warm recognition of his humanitarian gestures to society and philanthropic contributions to the club.
A statement by the Personal Assistant to Asema Achado on Media and Publicity, Menda Manasseh, said the National Assembly member pledged to support Club’s set goals to foster its development, growth and progress.
Performing the ceremony, the President of the club, Mr Salem Atser, during the presentation of the award, commended Achado’s consistent provision of essential amenities, financial assistance, and other humanitarian services, which have significantly impacted the club and warranted such distinguished recognition.
He urged other members to emulate Achado’s dedication and strive for greater contributions towards the club’s progress.
The awardee, made a huge financial contribution towards the renovation of the club’s hall and other social development initiatives of the club.
The event was attended by other eminent Nigerians including; Hon. Justice Terna Puusu (Rtd) Chief Farida waziri, General Er, Prof Terhemba Shija,Prof Msugh Kembe, Barr Paul Angya, Arc Nguvan,Dr Imoter Duenya among other distinguished personalities.
