Senator Natasha joins Petroleum Minister, NUPRC boss to launch Nigerian Exhibition Pavilion at OTC 2024

Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, representing Kogi Central, on Monday, joined the Honourable Minister of State for Petroleum, Senator Heineken Lokpobiri, and the Chief Executive of the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC), Engr. Gbenga Komolafe, to officially open the Nigerian Exhibition Pavilion at the prestigious Oil Technology Conference (OTC) 2024 in Houston, Texas.

The Nigerian Exhibition Pavilion, a showcase of the country’s oil and gas industry, was inaugurated on Monday, May 6 at the OTC 2024, a premier international event for the energy sector.

The pavilion featured exhibits from Nigerian companies, showcasing the country’s vast energy resources, investment opportunities, and innovative technologies.

Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan, a strong advocate for the development of Nigeria’s energy sector, expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to join the Minister of State for Petroleum and the NUPRC Chief to launch the pavilion.

“I am honoured to be part of this historic moment, promoting Nigeria’s oil and gas industry on the global stage,” she disclosed in a Facebook post.

The OTC 2024, which is slated for May 6 to May 9, brings together industry experts, policymakers, and stakeholders from around the world to share insights, innovations, and best practices in the energy sector.

The Nigerian Exhibition Pavilion was a significant presence at the event, highlighting the country’s commitment to advancing its energy sector and fostering international collaboration.

By joining the Minister of State for Petroleum and the NUPRC Chief to launch the pavilion, Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan demonstrated her dedication to supporting Nigeria’s energy sector and promoting economic growth and development.
