Ahead of the March 11, state elections, The ObiDat Alliance has reaffirmed its total support for the actualization of Dr. Alex Otti Governorship bid in Abia state.
The group made their resolve know in a statement issued by the Media Directorate.of The ObiDat Alliance, on Tuesday in Abuja.
The statement said: “The attention of The ObiDat Alliance has drawn to media statements online and in traditional media by various gubernatorial candidates in different parts of the country purporting to have been endorsed by TOA.
“These claims are a total fallacy craftily designed to lure unwary voters into misusing their votes .
“TOA is one of the largest Peter Obi support groups in Nigeria with membership across the country .TOA is a merger of many support groups hence our huge numerical strength. We operate independently and have demonstrated our capacity to harvest bountiful votes for our chosen candidates.
“The only candidate endorsed by The ObiDat Alliance in Abia state is Dr.Alex Otti of the Labour Party. Any claim to the contrary is a figment of the writers imagination .
“We hereby invite the relevant security agencies to investigate this deceptive and misleading information that is capable of disturbing the peace and resulting in a breakdown of law and order .
