Legendary entertainer and one of Nigeria’s top hitters, Innocent Idibia a.k.a Tuface, has joined his kinsmen from Benue State especially those of Idoma extraction to demand for a governorship candidate from the area.
In an Instagram message just released, Tu Baba as he is also called, is asking why no candidate from the zone has ever been given the chance to govern the state.
‘’Abeg I want to know which law is there that says an Idoma man can’t be governor of Benue. It’s becoming ridiculous,’’ he queried.
…as Kenneth Okonkwo roots for Ndigbo
In the same vein, another showbiz industry legend, Kenneth Okonkwo has led the campaign crusaders for Igbo presidency in 2023.
The actor, producer and director, who is also a practicing lawyer believes that having an Igbo president come next year, will pave the way for justice and peace in the country.
The naturally-endowed role interpreter with almost an innumerable number of movies to his credit, urged every Nigerian to support the agitation to have a south easterner as president in the next dispensation.
He also called on the indigenes of the south east extraction to unite as one and lend their voices to the noble course.
‘’Some blackmailers would want to pick on me for orchestrating the course but I’m an agent of truth, equity and peace, so they should rethink and join the bandwagon.’’
