Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum

in his tireless efforts to curtail the transportation difficulty faced by citizens in Borno State, Governor Babagana Zulum has directed the Commissioner for Transport, Hon Abubakar Tijani Banki to make proper arrangements for immediate delivery of tricycles and buses in Maiduguri metropolis and its environs.
“Our Government has done its part, left to you (Commissioner), for sharp delivery, the hardship faced is worrisome”, Zulum said on Wednesday.
Hon. Tijjani in his response, said: “following the directive of His Excellency, the ministry has swung into action and gave deadline for the delivery of the tricycles and busses to the contractors which will be delivered soon”.
The commissioner also urged the entire people of Borno to remained calm, assuring that “Government is trying its possible best to intervene in the transportation issue quickly as arrangement has been made for immediate delivery of the tricycles and vehicles which have been ordered”. He said.
