All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State is confident of winning all chairmanship and councillorship seats in the ongoing Local Government election.
According to the party’s spokesperson, Seye Oladejo, the APC’s track record at various levels of government makes it the people’s choice.
No doubt about Victory
“There is no doubt around APC victory,” Oladejo said.
“The conversation now is about how massive the voting will be, as this local government election is a preparation for the 2027 election.”
He added that the party’s performance at the local, state, and federal levels has made it the preferred choice for Lagosians.
Oladejo urged the electorate to turn out in large numbers to vote for their preferred candidates.
“We encourage the electorate to troop out and exercise their civil responsibility,” he said.
However, he noted that the exercise started late and suggested that voting time should be extended to accommodate all eligible voters.
Oladejo described the election as peaceful, but expressed hope for a better turnout. “The exercise is peaceful, but the turnout could be better,” he said.
“People are showing enthusiasm, and we urge them to come out and vote for their preferred candidates.”
